Understand Your Granite's Pattern
Granite comes in three broad looks. Solid-looking stones such as Black Granite or Galaxy Black read as nearly one colour from a distance. Speckled stones such as Kashmir White, Tropical Brown and Silver Pearl show evenly scattered crystals. Wavy or veined stones such as Brown Wave and Cosmo Wave have strong movement. The more movement the granite has, the plainer your cabinets should be.

Pairing by Granite Colour
White granite (Kashmir White, Snow White, Deer White): pairs with white cabinets for a bright, airy kitchen; with navy, charcoal or bottle-green for contrast; or with warm wood for a softer feel.

Black granite (Galaxy Black, Black Pearl, Impala Black): works with almost any cabinet. White is the classic high-contrast choice; light oak and sage green feel fresh; deep red or burgundy creates a bold statement.
Grey granite (Silver Pearl, Grey Suprema, Grey Juparana): ideal for modern kitchens with white, black or grey-blue cabinets and stainless-steel appliances.
Beige granite (Golden Juparana, Light Empradore): pairs with cream, light wood and olive cabinets for a warm, traditional look.
Brown granite (Tropical Brown, Tan Brown, Baltic Brown): suits cream, off-white and medium wood. Avoid very dark brown cabinets with dark brown granite โ the kitchen can feel heavy.
Gold granite (Indus Gold, Kashmir Gold): beautiful with white, cream and walnut cabinets, and with brass hardware.
Blue granite (Blue Pearl, Volga Blue): grey, white or black cabinets let the blue shimmer stand out.
Green granite (Verde Fantastico, Uba Tuba, Sea Green): beige, cream and natural wood create an earthy, calm kitchen.
Red and pink granite (Red Ruby, Sadio Pink): white or grey cabinets keep the look balanced.
Don't Forget the Floor
Three large surfaces โ floor, cabinets and counter โ must work together. If your floor is busy (patterned tiles or veined marble), keep the counter calmer. If your floor is plain, the granite can carry more pattern.
Hardware and Taps Tie It Together
Brass handles warm up gold and brown granites. Black handles look sharp with grey and white. Brushed steel suits black and blue granites.
