Why Balochistan Has Remarkable Stone
Balochistan's complex geology — shaped by ancient seas, tectonic collisions and volcanic activity — created deposits of marble, onyx, limestone and other minerals across its vast mountains and deserts.

Ziarat White Marble
Quarried in the Ziarat region, Ziarat White is one of Pakistan's most celebrated marbles. It has a bright white background with soft grey veins, making it ideal for floors, walls, stairs and vanities. FB Marble stocks Ziarat White in our Lahore showroom.

Green Onyx from Chagai
The Chagai region is famous worldwide for its green onyx. Formed by mineral-rich water depositing calcium carbonate in layers, onyx has translucent bands of green, cream, gold and white. When backlit, it glows like a jewel.
FB Marble offers:
- Dark Green Onyx
- Light Green Onyx
- Multi Green Onyx
- Pakistan Green Onyx
Other Balochistan Stones
The province also produces various marbles in beige, brown and black tones, as well as limestones used in construction.
How Balochistan Stones Are Used
- Ziarat White: floors, stairs, bathroom walls, feature walls.
- Green onyx: backlit walls, bar fronts, reception desks, tabletops, lamps and decorative items.
- Other marbles: flooring, cladding and borders.
Caring for Onyx and Marble
- Marble: seal regularly; use pH-neutral cleaners; avoid acids.
- Onyx: softer and more delicate — seal, avoid acids and heavy impact, and use it for feature areas rather than busy work surfaces.
Supporting Pakistani Stone
Choosing Balochistan stone supports local quarrying communities and showcases Pakistan's natural heritage.
