How Much Is a Slab of Granite?
In FB Marble's current list, granite costs roughly Rs 250 to Rs 5,000 per square foot:
- Pakistani granite: from about Rs 250
- Imported granite: from about Rs 700
- Rare and exotic granite: up to about Rs 5,000
A full slab's cost depends on its area. Slabs vary in size by stone and quarry; your exact quote is based on the area you need plus wastage.
Slab Price vs Installed Price
The slab price covers the stone only. The installed price adds:
- Cutting and fabrication
- Edge profiles
- Sink, hob and tap cut-outs
- Backsplash
- Transport and installation
- Sealing
What Factors Impact the Cost of Granite?
- Origin: local vs imported
- Rarity: common vs exotic colours
- Quality and grade: fewer flaws, higher price
- Slab size: jumbo slabs cost more
- Thickness: 18, 20 or 30 mm
- Demand: popular colours may be priced competitively due to volume
How Does Colour Impact Cost?
From FB Marble's list:
| Colour | Approx. Rate per sq ft |
|---|---|
| Black | Rs 400 – 5,000 |
| White | Rs 650 – 1,800 |
| Grey | Rs 700 – 2,000 |
| Brown | Rs 250 – 3,200 |
