How Is Engineered Stone Made?
About 90–93% crushed natural quartz is mixed with resin and pigments, moulded, compressed under vacuum and vibration, cured with heat and polished. The result is a dense, non-porous slab.
How Much Do Engineered Stone Countertops Cost?
Engineered stone typically falls in the mid-to-premium price range per square foot. Plain colours are the most affordable; marble-look and bookmatched designs cost more. Fabrication and installation are additional. FB Marble provides current rates on request.
