Cost of Quartz per Square Foot
Quartz is priced per square foot, and the rate depends mainly on design. Plain whites and solid colours are the most affordable. Marble-look designs with complex veining, such as Calacatta Gold, and bookmatched designs like Panda White sit higher. FB Marble provides exact rates on request.

General Cost Factors
Design and brand. Premium imported brands and complex patterns cost more.
Thickness. 18 mm is FB Marble's standard and suitable for most kitchens; thicker builds or laminated edges add cost.
Slab size and wastage. Layouts that use slabs efficiently keep costs down; awkward shapes waste material.
Layout complexity. L-shapes, U-shapes and islands require more cuts and joints.
Separate Fabrication Charges
- Edge profiles: eased and half bullnose are standard; ogee, mitered and waterfall are premium.
- Cut-outs: sinks (undermount needs polishing), hobs, taps and soap dispensers.
- Backsplash: strip or full-height.
- Waterfall panels: priced per side.
- Templating: site visit to measure precisely.
Installation Charges
- Transport and loading
- Fixing and levelling
- Seam bonding with colour-matched epoxy
- Sink fitting and silicone sealing
- Removal of old counters, if needed
How Good Are Quartz Countertops?
Very good for daily use in Pakistani kitchens. Quartz is non-porous, so oil, haldi and chai do not soak in. It does not need sealing. It resists scratches and is easy to clean. Its main limitation is direct high heat — keep trivets beside the stove.

Ways to Save
- Choose an in-stock design
- Keep edges simple on long runs
- Plan the layout to minimise seams and wastage
- Combine quartz on the main counter with granite on secondary areas
