Granite: General Information
Granite is a natural igneous stone formed from slowly cooled magma. It is made mainly of quartz and feldspar, which give it hardness and durability.
Patterns and Marks
Granite's patterns come from its minerals:

- Speckled granites (Kashmir White, Tan Brown) show evenly scattered crystals.
- Solid-looking granites (Black Granite) appear almost uniform.
- Wavy granites (Brown Wave, Cosmo Wave) show flowing movement.
- Shimmering granites (Blue Pearl, Black Pearl) reflect light.
Durability
Granite rates about 6–7 on the Mohs hardness scale, resisting scratches from utensils. It handles hot pots, resists stains when sealed and lasts for generations.
Types of Granite
FB Marble stocks 21 Pakistani granites and 25 imported granites from Brazil, Finland, India, Norway and Ukraine, across black, white, grey, brown, gold, green, blue and pink.

Why Granite Suits Pakistani Kitchens
Pakistani cooking involves high heat, oil and strong spices. Dark speckled granites like Galaxy Black and Tan Brown hide marks, handle heat and need minimal care — making them ideal for everyday family kitchens.
