Description

Emerald Pearl is one of Norway's most prized granites β€” a deep, rich green stone with a distinctive pearl-like shimmer that makes it truly unforgettable. The shimmer comes from labradorescent feldspar crystals embedded throughout the stone.

One of the most sought-after exotic granites in the world, Emerald Pearl has been a favourite of interior designers and architects for decades. Its unique combination of deep green colour and metallic shimmer makes it stand out in any setting.

Whether used as a kitchen countertop, bathroom vanity, or feature wall, Emerald Pearl granite commands attention and adds a luxurious, high-end quality to any interior. It pairs beautifully with cream, white and gold accents.

Origin & Technical Profile

Origin: Imported from Norway. Emerald Pearl is larvikite from the Larvik area of southern Norway β€” the same rock as Blue Pearl, but from a darker, greener seam.

What the slab looks like: Dark green feldspar crystals that show a silver-green shimmer in reflected light.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Emerald Pearl Granite good for kitchen countertops in Pakistani homes?
Yes. Emerald Pearl Granite is a dense, darker granite, so haldi, oil and masala spills do not soak in easily and everyday marks are hard to see. Seal it once after installation and then every 2–3 years.
Where does Emerald Pearl Granite come from?
Emerald Pearl Granite is imported from Norway. Emerald Pearl is larvikite from the Larvik area of southern Norway β€” the same rock as Blue Pearl, but from a darker, greener seam.
What is the difference between Emerald Pearl Granite and Galaxy Black Granite?
Emerald Pearl Granite is Norwegian larvikite in deep green with pearl-like shimmer, while Galaxy Black Granite is Indian black granite with gold bronzite flecks. Emerald Pearl Granite comes from Norway and Galaxy Black Granite from India. Both are granites with the same basic performance, so the choice is mainly colour and pattern β€” we can lay both slabs side by side for you in Lahore.
Can I put a hot patila or tawa directly on Emerald Pearl Granite?
Granite like Emerald Pearl Granite takes the heat of a hot patila or tawa without damage, but repeated direct heat weakens the sealer and can, rarely, crack the stone next to a sink or hob cut-out through thermal shock β€” use a trivet for pans straight off a high flame.
What thickness and finish is Emerald Pearl Granite available in, and what is the rate?
Emerald Pearl Granite is supplied 18mm / 20mm with a polished finish. 20 mm is the usual choice for kitchen counters; 18 mm is common for flooring and stairs. The estimated rate for Emerald Pearl Granite is Rs 1,950 – 2,300 per square foot. The exact rate depends on slab size, thickness and the batch in stock, so we confirm it on the day β€” send your measurements on WhatsApp +92 323 4148908. You can see the actual slabs and take free samples at our Lahore showroom.
