Description

Baltic Brown granite is a rich, warm Finnish stone featuring a beautiful blend of brown, black and beige crystal patterns. This granite is quarried from the ancient bedrock of Finland and is renowned for its exceptional durability and timeless beauty.

One of the most durable granites available, Baltic Brown is extremely resistant to scratching, staining and heat β€” making it a perfect choice for busy kitchen countertops and high-traffic flooring applications.

The warm, earthy tones of Baltic Brown granite complement a wide range of interior styles, from traditional to contemporary. Its consistent pattern and colour make it ideal for large projects requiring matched slabs.

Origin & Technical Profile

Origin: Imported from Finland. Baltic Brown is a rapakivi granite from south-east Finland, recognisable by its round brown feldspar crystals ringed with dark green-black rims.

What the slab looks like: Large, rounded brown and copper feldspar crystals with dark rims, set in a black-and-cream matrix.

SealingLight colours every 6–12 months; dense dark colours every 2–3 years

Practical note: The coarse, round crystals make every slab look busy, so it suits plain flat-panel cabinets; seams are easier to hide than on veined stones because the pattern has no direction. Clean with warm water and a pH-neutral soap; avoid bleach and abrasive powders that strip the sealer.

Technical figures are typical ranges for this type of stone, not lab results for one block. Every natural slab differs in colour and pattern, so please view the actual slab before it is cut.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Baltic Brown Granite good for kitchen countertops in Pakistani homes?
Yes. Baltic Brown Granite is a dense, darker granite, so haldi, oil and masala spills do not soak in easily and everyday marks are hard to see. Seal it once after installation and then every 2–3 years.
Where does Baltic Brown Granite come from?
Baltic Brown Granite is imported from Finland. Baltic Brown is a rapakivi granite from south-east Finland, recognisable by its round brown feldspar crystals ringed with dark green-black rims.
What is the difference between Baltic Brown Granite and Tan Brown Granite?
Baltic Brown Granite is Finnish rapakivi granite with round brown feldspar crystals, while Tan Brown Granite is warm brown Indian granite with black and rust-red crystals. Baltic Brown Granite comes from Finland and Tan Brown Granite from India. Both are granites with the same basic performance, so the choice is mainly colour and pattern β€” we can lay both slabs side by side for you in Lahore.
Can I put a hot patila or tawa directly on Baltic Brown Granite?
Granite like Baltic Brown Granite takes the heat of a hot patila or tawa without damage, but repeated direct heat weakens the sealer and can, rarely, crack the stone next to a sink or hob cut-out through thermal shock β€” use a trivet for pans straight off a high flame.
What thickness and finish is Baltic Brown Granite available in, and what is the rate?
Baltic Brown Granite is supplied 18mm / 20mm with a polished finish. 20 mm is the usual choice for kitchen counters; 18 mm is common for flooring and stairs. The estimated rate for Baltic Brown Granite is Rs 1,100 – 1,300 per square foot. The exact rate depends on slab size, thickness and the batch in stock, so we confirm it on the day β€” send your measurements on WhatsApp +92 323 4148908.
