Quartzite: Natural Marble Lookalikes
Quartzite is a natural metamorphic stone that often has soft, flowing veins on light backgrounds — strikingly similar to marble. Unlike marble, it is very hard and does not etch from kitchen acids. Popular quartzite looks include:

How to Test Real Quartzite
Ask for a sample and scratch glass with it — real quartzite will scratch glass. Also test with a drop of lemon juice; real quartzite will not etch.
