Description

Impala Black granite is a Pakistani natural stone known for its very consistent fine-grained dark grey-black texture. Supplied by FB Marble from local quarries, it is one of the hardest and most durable granites we stock.

Impala Black's consistent, fine-grained texture makes it an ideal choice for large-scale commercial and residential projects where uniformity of appearance across multiple slabs is important.

Available in polished and flamed finishes, Impala Black granite is suitable for a wide range of applications including kitchen countertops, flooring, steps, cladding and commercial paving. Its exceptional durability makes it a top choice for high-traffic areas.

Origin & Technical Profile

Origin: Quarried in Pakistan and supplied by FB Marble from local quarries, so lead times and transport costs are lower than for imported stone.

What the slab looks like: A very even, fine-grained dark grey-black.

Practical note: Its uniform grain takes flamed and brushed finishes well, so it is widely used for exterior paving, cladding and memorials. Clean with warm water and a pH-neutral soap; avoid bleach and abrasive powders that strip the sealer.

Technical figures are typical ranges for this type of stone, not lab results for one block. Every natural slab differs in colour and pattern, so please view the actual slab before it is cut.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Impala Black Granite good for kitchen countertops in Pakistani homes?
Yes. Impala Black Granite is a dense, darker granite, so haldi, oil and masala spills do not soak in easily and everyday marks are hard to see. Seal it once after installation and then every 2–3 years.
Where does Impala Black Granite come from?
Impala Black Granite is quarried in Pakistan and supplied by FB Marble from local quarries, so lead times and transport costs are lower than for imported stone.
What is the difference between Impala Black Granite and Galaxy Black Granite?
Impala Black Granite is fine-grained, even dark grey-black granite, while Galaxy Black Granite is Indian black granite with gold bronzite flecks. Impala Black Granite comes from Pakistan and Galaxy Black Granite from India. Both are granites with the same basic performance, so the choice is mainly colour and pattern β€” we can lay both slabs side by side for you in Lahore.
Can I put a hot patila or tawa directly on Impala Black Granite?
Granite like Impala Black Granite takes the heat of a hot patila or tawa without damage, but repeated direct heat weakens the sealer and can, rarely, crack the stone next to a sink or hob cut-out through thermal shock β€” use a trivet for pans straight off a high flame.
What thickness and finish is Impala Black Granite available in, and what is the rate?
Impala Black Granite is supplied 18mm / 20mm / 30mm with a polished / flamed / brushed finish. 20 mm is the usual choice for kitchen counters; 18 mm is common for flooring and stairs. The estimated rate for Impala Black Granite is Rs 400 – 450 per square foot. The exact rate depends on slab size, thickness and the batch in stock, so we confirm it on the day β€” send your measurements on WhatsApp +92 323 4148908.
