Tumbled Travertine
Description
A rustic, textured surface achieved through tumbling — gives an aged, weathered character ideal for outdoor and Mediterranean-style spaces.
In our stock photos Tumbled Travertine shows ivory and gold tiles tumbled in a drum for rounded edges and an aged surface, laid in a French pattern.
Tumbled Travertine is supplied 20mm / 30mm (custom on request) in a tumbled (rustic) finish, for floors, wall cladding and outdoor paving.
Origin & Technical Profile
Origin: Imported from Turkey, one of the world's largest exporters of marble and travertine. Most Turkish travertine comes from the Denizli basin in western Turkey, the same geological system that formed the Pamukkale terraces.
What the slab looks like: Ivory and gold tiles tumbled in a drum for rounded edges and an aged surface, laid in a French pattern.

Practical note: Tumbled travertine is ideal around pools and patios — the rounded edges and textured face give good grip. Clean with pH-neutral stone soap; on unfilled or tumbled stone, sweep grit regularly so the open pores do not trap dirt.
Technical figures are typical ranges for this type of stone, not lab results for one block. Every natural slab differs in colour and pattern, so please view the actual slab before it is cut.
