Noce Travertine
Description
A rich medium-brown travertine — 'noce' means walnut in Italian — prized for its warm, coffee-toned character in flooring and feature walls.
In our stock photos Noce Travertine shows a dark walnut-brown cross-cut slab with mottled darker patches ('noce' is Italian for walnut).
Noce Travertine is supplied 20mm / 30mm (custom on request) in a filled & honed finish, for floors, wall cladding and outdoor paving.
Origin & Technical Profile
Origin: Imported from Turkey, one of the world's largest exporters of marble and travertine. Most Turkish travertine comes from the Denizli basin in western Turkey, the same geological system that formed the Pamukkale terraces.

Practical note: Cross-cut stone is sawn across the bedding layers, giving a cloudy pattern with no direction, so pieces can be laid in any orientation. Factory filling (resin or cementitious) closes the pores for an easy-clean surface; small fill spots may open over the years and can be refilled. Clean with pH-neutral stone soap; on unfilled or tumbled stone, sweep grit regularly so the open pores do not trap dirt.
Technical figures are typical ranges for this type of stone, not lab results for one block. Every natural slab differs in colour and pattern, so please view the actual slab before it is cut.
